Having a bit more time on my hands than on the previous occasion, I set about doing some proper work, and get started putting in the underbed "drawers" in the main bedroom. The first of these is a dummy as it's backing onto the waste tank, and I'd deliberated how I was going to fix this without the screws being visible from the front. It dawned on me that as this will be sporting a handle to match its functional neighbours, I could cover the head with that. So I just banged a screw straight through the middle. Sometimes the crudest solutions work best.
