Having equipped myself with a new length of flexible hose, I set about trying to re-couple the cack tank to the skin fitting. My optimism of the 10th was slightly ill founded as it's not that accessible in there. With a large amount of grunting, snorting and contortion I realize that I'm not going to get the end over the tank outlet without a fight. So I boil the kettle to soften one end in the hot water, but alas (quite literally) over cook it. It slips over easily now, but is so soft it kinks. Damn! Luckily, the piece is over long so I lop off the offending end and try again. This time success, and with a measure of relief I re-assemble my partially dismantled cupboard. Have I said before that I hate plumbing? The rest of the evening is spent finishing off the drawer carcases in the master bedroom. I get these finished, but they're not getting their fronts on until the cupboard is properly skinned.
