Get to have a look at the boat in daylight today (having just stopped by the Indian Embassy which is conveniently nearby). The take-off for the Webasto from the diesel tank is considerably higher up than I had remembered. I knew it was higher than the engine (for obvious reasons) but didn't realize it was 6" off the top! That should give me about a 50 litre safety margin between the Webasto running dry and the tank emptying, which to my reckless mind is a tad excessive. Never mind, I put the Webasto's recent failure down to fuel shortage and resolve to get her filled up next time I'm out and about. I have also procured some roller catches for the underbed storage, and I replace one of the old magnetic catches by way of experiment. Much better. Why didn't I do this in the first place?
