Well, Father Christmas has been and gone but left in his wake a rather splendid kettle. Which provides me with a steaming cup of coffee whilst I peruse my burst pipes. Ice has forced off the connection to the toilet, and I am alerted to this by the jolly sploshing noise as I turn on the pump circuit and flood the bathroom. Joy. And that coupling is so easy to get to. Not. There's also an impressive leak from the filter upstream of the pump. I seem to remember that happening last year, too. Once I get everything re-connected and re-sealed, there appear to be no further leaks, so it's roaring fire time to attempt to dry out the bilges. In increasing states of undress as the temperature mounts, I get the wardrobe skin finished and attached. Including cutting a replacement piece for the top, as the previous one wasn't quite as good a fit as I wanted and I decided I couldn't live with it. I even manage to get the drawer fronts on the lower drawers, with a spectacular precision though I say so myself.
